| Here at TDL, our main focus is raiding end-game content. When the guild was originally started, it was only meant to be a casual guild, used for grouping and leveling with friends. Over time, TDL accumulated more and more members interested in seeing the real end-game, the reason why most of us became interested in this game. Now, we are a 5 day a week, semi-hardcore guild. With that, there are multiple rules that are laid down as far as raids go. This listing will be added to as time goes on, but use this as a general guideline to how we run raids, and how we prefer to see things go. 1. Raid invites start at 7:45pm. Unless there is a reason you cannot be there on time, you should be at the stone, at 7:45, ready to walk inside once the Raid Leader sends the invite. No excuses if you're online. 2. BYOB (Bring Your Own Buffs). Each and every night, no matter what 25 man raid we are entering, you should be prepared with the self-buffs (aside from your class) available to you. This includes flasks/elixirs, buff food, weapon oil, and any resistance pots that may be needed. Most of these buffs are not expensive, or can easily be farmed. Guildies are always willing to help out. Prepare yourself prior to 7:45pm. 3. Once the raid begins, leave guild chat, or any general chat, until after the raid is finished. That includes any general chat going on within raid chat. You are in the raid to raid, not to gossip. 4. The less AFK's the better. But, if you must go AFK, please attempt to take care of it prior to a boss attempt especially. Remember, the faster we go, the more bosses we down, the more loot we acquire, and the farther progressed we get. 5. We use a Loot Council system. Members looking for an item as an upgrade whispers the RL with the item they would be replacing, at which point the council will decide and make the appropriate distribution. 6. Listen to and respect your Raid Leader/Officers. They are not in their position for no reason. Do not treat them as your peer, treat them as your superior. Cooperation does wonders for progression. As stated, this listing will be updated and edited, so check back here. |
