Raids/Rules
TDL holds to a basic set of general guideliness, in which each member is fully expected to comply with. For the most part, it is what your parents should have taught you in order to be a generally respectful and polite individual. If these rules do not seem to fit your fancy, then I will regretfully inform you that you should probably look elsewhere. BUT, they are not crazy rules, so please give a read below:
Rules
- As a general rule, members are expected to behave in a professional manner, both within the guild, as well as representatives of our guild to the gaming community as a whole.
- Ninja activities either within a guild party or in a PUG will be automatic grounds for guild removal.
- If a fellow guild member needs help or asks for help in the guild chat, please do your best to help them. However, do not continuously beg for help. It's immature.
- There is no tolerance for discrimination or negative remarks with regards to race, religion or sexual orientation. If asked by a guild officer to end chat on a topic felt to be detrimental to the guild, members will do so immediately. Repeat violations will result in expulsion from the guild. This includes absolutely no joking regarding violence against women. There will be no exceptions.
- Please keep discussion regarding relationships to a minimum while in guild chat. It can be a very sensitive issue at times, and to be safe, it is advised to keep all related chat to whispers, in order to refrain from infringing on someone else's comfort zone.
- Be appropriate with your language. Although we are lenient, do not take advantage of it. If you have a question about what is inappropriate, please contact an officer or Aula.
- Forum posts must also be respectful in nature, with appropriate language and content. Non-stickied forum posts will be deleted after two to three weeks time, for the sake of keeping the forum organized. An archive of all old posts will be kept for reference purposes, and will available to mods and admins as needed.
- New ideas are always welcome on the forums! Whether it be site or forum related, or you have a new idea for the guild, don't be afraid to voice your opinion. We always have open ears (or rather, open eyes) to new things.
Raids
TDL's sole purpose in this game is to raid. Our goals are to see all end-game content, and to see it in a reasonable amount of time. However, we are not your typical hardcore raiding guild. We prefer to title ourselves as 'semi-hardcore'. In the sense of our raiding schedule, and our commitment to raiding, we are hardcore. Attendance, on the other hand, is simply encouraged, not required. Though, if you expect to be part of our core squad, active attemdance will end up being quite important.
Our leadership has compiled together a charter that holds within it all of our general raid guidelines, and specific information regarding rank and loot. Please feel free to follow the link below, which will direct you to the forum post in which it is held
